The Choice To Startup

It's 2019 and Autumn looks closer, I'm in my dorm room at IIT Roorkee, doors closed, lights off, preparing to sing properly for the freshers. My batch-mates who owned the 1st floor of A-Block Rajendra Bhawan btw, getting ready and I'm still figuring out weather to sing or to mimic "Oggy and the cockroaches" as my act. I was the first one who's gonna perform in like 2 hrs and I'm still not ready. Everybody was in a rush to arrange the "dress code", seniors have strictly told us to wear formals, white shirt with buttons tied up to the chin, black trousers and formal shoes, don't know why but they wanted us to wear a "red tilak" on our forehead as well. We all gather, I end up performing both. Although, people didn't seem to enjoy my singing much as it was my first time on stage and I don't thing they should expect much from a bathroom singer but everybody became a fan of my mimicry tho. Nerdy me spent hours preparing singing but got praised for mimicry that I didn't prepare at all.

All the acts end now and people start eating and talking, most of us were nerds and didn't know much about talking. Under the roof of Motel Divine International, I met a guy, even nerdier than me, we were sitting and eating together, a bit away from the crowd. I never thought we'd end up starting a company together. Devansh and me were both curious folks and loved physics and tech, so we became friends quickly. In AF-16, my dorm room, I'd play with Arduino to make something cool and he'd come to learn it and have fun.

The Builders

Looking from outside we'd appear as shy nerds who just want to run away from cool people but at core we're cool builders. AF-16 was our new garage, where we'd code web-apps. Around same time, Aarush Gupta was assigned as our mentor, we'd meet him frequently to gain insights on how to spend the next 4 years of our lives. To be continued...
